I recently tried Cosmedix's Micro Defense Microbiome Mask and really enjoyed my experience. The mask itself feels very soothing and ultra hydrating. The mask feels very rich with the prebiotic serum mixed with different oils from coconuts and almonds. Feels so nourishing for dry, dull, and damaged skin perfect for those harsher weather months! I used some of the leftover serum from the bag on my neck and hands and they also felt amazing. After I took the mask off my face felt extremely smooth, soft, and supple! I could tell my skin look more rejuvenated and alive. I applied my moisturizer and went to bed and when I woke up the next day my skin still look fantastic. This is a perfect addition to your skin care routine I recommend for when you need to give your skin that extra boost throughout the week!

Obsessed with these masks. They're so soothing on unbalanced, inflamed skin. For reference I'm a 27 year old Caucasian woman from the Midwest with combination skin that leans dry. I tend to breakout every month around my period in my t-zone and that's when I find myself reaching for these the most. The masks are soft with slits for the eyes and mouth. I like to leave mine on until they're almost dry while watching tv. They're packed with a prebiotic serum that supports skin's natural occurring good bacteria. My skin absolutely soaks up every drop, especially when it's in need of extra moisture. These leave my skin plump, radiant, and rejuvenated. The other star ingredients are the sodium hyaluronate and coconut and almond oils which provide lasting moisture for hours after using it. They help clear up any acne and congestion I have by supporting a healthier microbiome. They're so soothing and have really made a huge difference in my overall complexion. The first item I tried was the Micro Defense Microbiome sheet mask. It came in a small package that was easy to open and sled right out. I put it on my face and all the serum just started to sipe in from the backing. Once I got it on there I took my fingers and smooth it out all the way around my face. It felt so hydrating as the serum laid pressed up against my skin for 15 minutes. It stayed on good and there was no running of the serum down my neck or anything. I actually put tanner on while I was waiting out the fifteen minutes to end. Once I took it off I added moisturizer and my face felt so clean and hydrated.

The mask is completely saturated and made it easy to fit the mask to my skin and stay on for the fifteen minutes with no issues. The fit is very comfortable and has a good amount of space for my eyes without needing to be cut and readjusted. My skin has been very dry and irritated after having a recent flare up from cystic acne and this provided my skin with rich hydration and soothing relief. The serum has a cooling feeling and the scent is relaxing with sweet floral notes that helped me to relax and allow it to penetrate deep into my skin for lasting hydration. The price for 5 of these masks Is $61 which is a little on the pricey side if you ask me, especially for a sheet mask but let me tell you that this thing is MAGICAL. Totally worth the price so if you're skeptical� GO FOR IT. It contained the PERFECT amount of serum for a solid 15 minutes of sheet mask pampering time LOL. It was the perfect amount of wetness and didn't dry out too early and left a little that I was able to rub into my skin after the fact that felt absolutely amazing. One of my favorite ingredients is the coconut oil, for antioxidant protection. Coconut oil is always a plus. This mask noticeably made my skin look less red and puffy after just one use.

I get facials on a monthly basis, so my bar for satisfaction is set very high. The packaging was very minimal but sophisticated and attractive. I loved that the mask was a mesh material so it didn't soak up the product. As soon as it got saturated, I used the guasha to help it absorb into my skin. I let the product soak in prior to moving on to any other products. I truly "felt" it working in my skin and saw visible results in one use. I still had plenty of product left over for future uses inside of the package. The masks worked well with the other products in the line and left no residue on my skin.
