So they once you apply the face mask and wait it feels okay but after the time the instructions say to rub in the remaining product this is where my issue comes in. These masks are so hydrating!! As a makeup artist for over a decade, I have used so many masks and Cosmedix has really out done themselves with these masks! Always be sure to cleanse the skin before applying a mask for the best results, bonus is you have Cosmedix Crystal Cleanser or Exfoliating cleanser to really help the skin shed away any impurities. Remove the plastic that is on the sheet masks and lay the mask on. Although it recommends 15 minutes , I honestly leave on the mask until I feel like it's almost dried up.this mask is the first time I felt like it has really contoured my face nicely without making any kind of adjustments. I am a licensed aesthetician and skin care enthusiast. I love a good sheet mask, and this one really did benefit my skin. What I really loved about the sheet mask was just how soothing and hydrating it was. While I dont incooperate sheet masks into my everyday routine anymore i do like to use them once in a while to pamper myself. The cosmedix bio cellulouse mask set comes in two versions, on infuswd with vitamin c for brightening and energzing and the other with damask rose for hydration. One of the reasons why i stopped using sheet masks was that they didnt adhere to my skin well and i couldnt multitask with them on. The bio cellulouse material in these sheet masks feel like a thin layer of gel sitting on your skin. It adheres really well to the face so you can drink your coffee while masking! I've tried tons of sheet masks and usually resort to them when my skin needs intensive treatment or hydration. Typically, i would see the cotton-type ones which seem to dry out faster. The hydrogel type ones are pretty good in my opinion too. These ones from Cosmedix are bio-cellulose types which are also great at keeping or retaining the moisture in and conforms well on skin. It did not slide down and stayed in place very well when i kept it for 15 mins on my face. I prefer using these at night because they help me relax and gives me a pamper feeling.
