Overall, this is a good product that's why I bought it, and I've used it in the past. However, prior to my purchase I attempted to call customer service 4x over the span of 3 days. No one ever answered the phone. Not once. The cart kept auto populating the micro exfoiating facial, which was a gift with purchase, but would never actually change the price to free. I couldn't delete it and it was never free gift. I paid $12 for something I didnt want, but could never get a hold of anyone at customer service to help me out.

As a seven year, verified beauty expert, there is nothing like cleansed skin. If there is remaining make-up, dirt or grime, none of your expensive, high performance products can penetrate the skin. So, its very important to have a clean canvas to start your Picassco on. This is a professional level clean skin care line, so if I am looking for serious results, I will use this cleanser, well nightly, as its deeply exfoilates with 10% lactic acid and removes all the dead, dry, dull skin that may have built up over the day. This with its hydrating glycerin and soothing aloe vera balances out the skin to provide a clean canvas that is hydrated and smooth. I've been using this product for years, but was asked to write a review of it. I am prone to severe acne, but people who haven't known me for years and years don't guess that is a problem for me. It is a real problem, though, and comes right back if I don't work diligently to keep it under control using products such as this one. I actually use another much milder gel face wash product first, all over my face and neck and behind my ears, etc. After that one is cleaned off with a washcloth, I go back over with this wash just on my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, avoiding the eye area, neck, and any other thinner, sensitive skin. This wash does feel a little bit spicy, but not terribly so, and it does not irritate or dry out my skin. It is extremely effective but also gentle in its removal of matter blocking my pores that would otherwise lead to breakouts, so it's a great decongester. It's definitely worth the extra minute or two as a second step. I follow up similarly with a very gentle toner, followed in the same way by Purity Balance Toner in just the same areas I used this wash for some extra attention. I follow with eye gel, a very thin layer of generic Duac on the acne-prone spots, and a light, hydrating gel moisturizer. Keeps my skin looking and feeling great. These two Cosmedix products are essential parts of my routine, and I keep a backstock in my cabinet to ensure I'm never without them! I also love the Cosmedix Clear Deep Cleansing Mask as an occasional aid to clearing out the deep stuff that can otherwise cause problems, particularly during very oily times like the summer.

OH YES! This cleanser is phenom! One pump creates a great mild lather that sweeps away impurities and reveals soft, healthy skin. I can use this a few times a week, no problem. It's gentle and perfect for women of all ages and maturity levels. I really enjoy this skincare line and hope to continue using it for years. This Cosmedix RX Clean has a nice citrus like smell to it which leaves your skin smelling and feeling fresh. Although I was in awe of the smell. I don't feel that this cleanser met all of my needs. When I'm choosing a cleanser I definitely look for ones that can remove my makeup and this didn't do that for me and that's is not a plus in my book. I would really only recommend this cleanser if you're looking for something that is just going to clean your skin after a walk in nature and you have already washed your face earlier in the day. I absolutely love lactic acid, it is the one active ingredient I truly use often. This cleanser has a nice citrus smell, almost herbal and it's so refreshing. This is a serum cleanser so it doesn't foam up like most cleansers but it doesn't dry out your face. The lactic acid provides a great boost if you have dry flakeys and clogged pores to really clear things up.This cleanser comes with 5 ounces of product and you really only need 1-2 pumps to cleanse your face and neck. I love it and use it often, it keeps my skin looking glowy and clears my pores. I know acid sounds like a scary thing on your face but it's a much better option to manual or scrub exfoliators. After I rinse it off my skin feels so smooth and silky, I'm impressed with how effective the lactic acid is and yet it is gentle enough for daily use!I believe lactic acid is an amazing universal chemical exfoliant because it is exfoliating yet draws moisture to the skin. I didn't expect it to help with my congestion but it truly did even when I didn't pair it with my salicylic/mandelic products. I feel like it's rare that I can actually tell a difference in my skin when using cleansers. I also struggle to find cleansers that I like because my skin is so friggin dry! I do feel like this exfoliates my skin and helps clear out some of my pesky random acne and acne scars. My face does tend to look brighter. Feel like my pores are cleaned out a little better. And the best part is, it doesn't leave my skin feeling super tight or stripped. I leave it in the shower and pair it with my Clarisonic. I even use it on my neck and décolleté. Cosmedix RX Clean is my new go to cleanser! I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist for over 17 years and skincare is one of my specialties.  This cleanser is next level.  It gives a great exfoliation while also not compromising your skin barrier or taking away moisture from your skin. As someone who has been a beauty fanatic/lover/obsessed person for the past 10 years I've gotten to try a lot of various products from a lot of brands. One of my favorite types of product to try are cleansers. I've heard great things about cosmedix products in the esthetician world that I was excited to finally try some products. I absolutely love everything about this exfoliating cleanser. My skin is usually dry and barrier is compromised. The first night I used this I was slightly nervous because of the 10% lactic acid. I have finally gotten my skin where I want it to be and did not want to strip it of its natural oils. I was literally shook when I tried this. The cleanser has a silky texture. When added with water it becomes a milky froth texture. It doesn't over emulsify pulling the extra oils out of the skin. Once I was finished washing it off my skin didn't feel tight and dry. I instantly have a nice glow. My favorite part about this product is that it's high in glycerin so you're going to get a lot of hydration while using it. I added this to my double cleanse routine two to three times a night. My skin has never looked better.
