Hello loves I'm kimmy makeup artist and cosmetologist! When it comes to hair it is so important that your scalp is in its best shape so the rest will stay healthy. I was so excited to try COSMEDIX Fortify Cooling Enzyme Scalp Treatment. I personally go through a love hate relationship with my scalp one day it's healthy and the next the weather changes and my scalp is itchy and dry. I'm always looking for great scalp products and right when I found out COSMEDIX was looking out for our scalps I was so grateful. This scalp treatment did everything it claimed it would. I only wash my hair once a week but because my scalp was so dry and not in its best shape for two weeks I washed twice a week and my scalp had never been so healthy. From wash one I felt all build up wash away and the cooling sensation took over and my scalp felt a sense of relief. It was no longer itchy and by the third wash my hair had been producing the normal amount of oils. I seem to have less buildup even only washing my hair once a week. Absolutely love how this treatment makes my scalp and hair look amazing! Be sure to use this treatment before going into the shower to get the best results. Since I have really long and thick hair, I used a brush to help spread the solution all over the scalp. Once I felt that the product covered most of my scalp, I then proceeded to massage a little bit more of the solution especially in the back area of my head. Allow for the treatment to stay in the hair for five or so minutes then follow up with your favorite shampoo and conditioner. Don't be alarmed if the solution begins to feel cooling or a bit tingly as it is working to deep keep your scalp! I have been using this before every shower and have noticed my hair feeling cleaner! This is my first time trying a cosmedix hair product. My scalp usually gets build up throughout the week from natural oils and hair styling products. The worst feeling for me is the itchiness. Between dry scalp, itchiness, product buildup I've used a lot of different products to try & help. I loved this scalp treatment. I've had it for a month now and have been using it twice a week. It's cooling but not tingly. It helps breakup the buildup and hydrate the scalp at the same time. My hair feels healthier and my scalp is not as itchy. The packaging is fairly basic but works well. It's straight to the point and easy to use. I like to use the treatment 15-20 mins before hopping in the shower.
