Like most things in the beauty world, skincare can be a little scientific. Lucky for you, COSMEDIX has been in the game of award-winning skincare for over 20 years and we’ve quickly become an authority in understanding the skin’s wants, needs and concerns. To help you better understand the ABC’s of skincare, we have curated our own skincare ingredient “dictionary”—starting with our proprietary and chirally correct ingredients:
AGP Complex (AGP + Retinol)
What It Does: Helps minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone

What It Is: AGP Complex is a product of our very own invention. Naturally, there are a lot of technical terms we could use to describe this high-performance skincare ingredient, but to put it simply, AGP Complex is our special blend of plant-based ingredients and Vitamin A (Retinol). So why is this blend beneficial to skin, you ask? Well, AGP Complex creates a special delivery system that allows Retinol to be easily dispersed into the skin, helping to minimize irritation. This means you can use our high dose Retinol products to help improve the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, while helping to reduce the irritation sometimes caused by traditional Retinols.
Chiral Correction Technology
What It Does: Helps encourage desired results with minimal irritation
What It’s In:

What It Is: While Chiral Correction Technology might not be an ingredient itself, it is a professional skincare method COSMEDIX uses on a number of our ingredients—making it worth a mention. Chirally Correct ingredients undergo a chemical “split”, keeping the elements that produce desired results while helping to minimize those that cause irritation. This technology helps breakdown effective ingredients so that they work with your skin, not against it. Not only does this help minimize skin irritation, but it also allows sensitive skin types and skin tones to explore skincare ingredients that might have caused them irritation in the past.
LG-Retinex
What It Does: Helps encourage skin renewal to improve the overall look of skin
What It’s In: Serum 16 Rapid Renewal Serum
What It Is: LG-Retinex is another ingredient COSMEDIX formulated in our promise to redefine clean skincare. While traditional Retinol is often referred to as “the fountain of youth”, it is also known for sometimes causing redness—especially in sensitive skin types.
