It seems to be a rule breaker😅 Design is perfect, now it is a little decoration of my vanity. First week I applied it every 2 nights, then started to do so every night. And yes, this moisturizer for at night use only. I will be honest, first couple times I felt some tingling, maybe, because I applied it just after the toner with salicylic acid that kinda opens my pores. The moisturizer has almost no scent, it is so slight that disappears immediately. The consistency is more like gel. Also moisturizer absorbs pretty well and fast into my skin. No sticky feeling or any squeezing feeling as well. I have already noticed that my pores become smaller and cleaner since I have started using this product. Of course, I never forget about sunscreen, because at the very first time I felt how sensitive my skin can be. So, don't forget about it too.

It feels very light weight and is lighted scented (not fragranced). I used this at night as recommended and I enjoyed this being the final step in my skincare routine. I can 90% confirm the product claims of reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the skin, especially on my forehead and under my eyes (this product had the biggest impact for my under eye darkness. Although it is very light weight, it felt like it sealed in the moisture from the previously used creams for a long time so my skin felt nourished instead of just "not dry". First of all, I don't expect to see any results for a retinol products I use every 2 days in the time period I used this product for. This product was very liquid and slightly yellow, however I couldn't detect a specific smell. I found this to be hydrating on my skin, which I liked since retinol can be stripping. One thing I disliked about the product is the packaging as I think the pump makes the product shoot out instead of trickling out. Like many other retinol products, this container has very little product for the amount you are paying ($75). I feel like this is a great middle ground retinol and great for anyone, but specially those with more dry or sensitive skin. I have seen a lot of refining in my forehead and smile lines. The texture on my forehead is improving day over day. I also love the scent of this product - it smells like candy. I have been using this every three days to help build up to more frequent use which felt like the right direction as I had a slight reaction (itchy, dry skin on my neck). In general, a little goes a long way so be thoughtful with the amount you apply.

Refine is a strong one. I started off using it every night, but that ended up being too much for my skin, especially when I used it with the Purity Balance toner. After a few days, my skin felt really irritated so I paused everything. Now I only use Refine once a week and that works way better for me. I think it's a good product, but if your skin is sensitive like mine, definitely ease into it slowly and listen to your skin. I used it in addition to purity balance, skin thirst and purity clean. I used the entire set for 2 weeks. I was definitely use this sparingly as it can be harsh. I went all in and it made my skin feel like it was burning, but after phasing it out and using it very slowly it's been better.

I am so happy to have experienced the Cosmedix Refine refinishing treatment! This works well with my combination skin to refine and reduce pores and blemishes. This does contain retinol so you may want to ease into using this product if you haven't tried retinol. I only apply this at night and the packaging gives you detailed instructions on how to use the product and of course be sure to use a mineral spf since your skin is much more sensitive to the sun after using this product. This has reduced some imperfections on my skin and helped with my skin tone. The scent alone smells refreshing. This is the best!

This is a product that does contain retinol, which is something I am a bit weary of using due to being fair skinned and living in Texas where we get near constant sun exposure. I have been following the instructions of using this product only at night time and to start off using only every three days, and have worked up to using every other day at this point.
My skin overall feels good as I have been using this as a part of a Cosmedix routine. I have not noticed any irritation to my skin after using. I also make sure to apply a sunscreen every morning to minimize any reaction that could occur.
