Build Your Routine
  • Smooths the look of uneven skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles
  • Moisturizes the skin and balances oil production
  • Gently helps brighten the look of uneven skin

If your skin is unable to tolerate retinol, you must switch to Bakuchiol Complete today. This has a formulation which is light, botanical, and based on Bakuchiol.

This is an all-inclusive Bakuchiol skincare formula with the Bakuchiol concentration being 0.5%, enough to improve skin tone, texture and quality from inside. You can use the product for your AM and PM routines simultaneously. Most importantly, aestheticians recommend Bakuchiol Complete as a pregnancy safe skin routine product because of its mild formula.

Bakuchiol is the primary, but not the only ingredient in this product. The other important ingredients are squalane, moringa oil, and jojoba seed oil. These ingredients replenish moisture  and help avoid transepidermal water loss. That’s how you get plump and fresh skin.

The base itself feels silky and absorbs quickly with no greasy finish, and no residue. Turmeric root extract, aloe, basil, and Vitamin E round out the botanical lineup, adding antioxidant support and a calming effect that sensitive skin in particular tends to appreciate.

It suits all skin types and can be applied as a few drops after cleansing, either before your moisturiser or blended into it if you prefer a lighter feel. Press it gently into the skin rather than rubbing. The oils absorb better that way. As always with any active bakuchiol anti aging serum, wearing SPF during the day is a good habit to keep.

The results aren't instant, but they're real. Skin tends to look more even, feel more hydrated, and gradually appear firmer with consistent use.

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles
  • Uneven Skin Tone
1. What is bakuchiol, and why is everyone suddenly talking about it?

A. It comes from the seeds and leaves of a plant called Psoralea corylifolia.

It produces similar results to retinol without any of the irritation baggage. Less peeling, no redness, no weeks-long adjustment period. There are real clinical studies backing this up.

2. Does it actually work the same way retinol does?

A. Close, but not identical. They target similar receptors in the skin, and you end up with comparable improvements, including softer lines, more even tone, and better firmness over time. The difference is mostly in how your skin feels during the process. Retinol often makes things worse before they get better. Bakuchiol doesn't do that and you can start using it daily right away, without any adjustment.

3. Who is this serum really designed for?

A. Anyone who wants retinol-level results but whose skin won't cooperate with the real thing. That includes people with sensitive skin, those with rosacea, and those who are pregnant. But it's just as useful for someone who's never touched a retinol product and doesn’t want to. It's a gentler on-ramp to anti-ageing skincare.

4. Is it actually safe during pregnancy?

A. Bakuchiol is widely considered a retinol alternative that's safe to use while pregnant, which is a big deal given how few effective anti-ageing options exist during that time. That said, run it by your doctor before adding anything new to your routine during pregnancy. Better safe than sorry.

5. Where does it fit in a skincare routine?

A. After cleansing, before moisturiser. A few drops, pressed in gently with your fingertips. If you find resurfacing serum feel too heavy when layered under a moisturiser, you can mix them straight into your moisturiser instead.

Unlike retinol, it won't make your skin sun-sensitive, so morning use is completely fine. SPF is still a good idea regardless, but that's not specific to this retinol alternative serum.

6. How long before something actually changes?

A. Be honest with yourself about timeline expectations here. Keep doing your Bakuchiol skincare routine for at least six to eight weeks. The improvement in hydration tends to show up fairly early.

7. Can I layer this with vitamin C or exfoliating acids?

A. One of bakuchiol's less talked-about benefits is that it's actually pretty easy to mix with other actives. It doesn't have the same compatibility issues retinol does. Vitamin C, AHAs, and niacinamide are generally fine. If you're already running a fairly full routine, though, add things one at a time.

8. I have oily, breakout-prone skin. Won't the oils in this clog my pores?

A. The oils used here, including squalane, jojoba, and moringa are all non-comedogenic, meaning, they are not the kind that sit in pores and cause congestion.

Squalane is actually one of the better ingredients for oily skin because it's light enough that the skin recognizes it and reduces its own oil production a bit.

Bakuchiol also has mild anti-inflammatory properties, which can quietly help with breakout-prone skin over time.
