Zinc Defense Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50

Just received this product but like it so far���..

My favorite sunscreen from another brand was discontinued, so I was on the hunt for another. I have used Cosmedix for years and love most of their products. I decided to try this sunscreen and so glad I did! It's very lightweight, goes on smooth and feels so moisturizing (my skin is starting to become drier the older I get so I need extra moisture). It does leave a slight white glow, but not nearly as bad as others. It makes my skin look "sparkly" ;-) The scent is also pleasant, very light and reminds me of almonds. Very happy with this product and will continue to purchase. Highly recommend!

I have been waiting for COSMEDIX to come out with a sunscreen!!! I was extremely happy to try their Zinc Defense SPF 50! I spend a lot of time In the sun and it's important that I wear sunscreen daily. YOU GUYS!!!!! This one is Ahhhhmaaaazzziinnggg!! It's super lightweight, does not feel greasy, absorbs into your skin and does not leave my face white! I usually have a hard time with zinc sunscreens but not this one! I add a pea size and emulsify in my fingertips, and then apply it to my face. I've used this over another serum, or just alone on my skin and I've been happy both ways. The size of the bottle is perfect to keep in your makeup bag or for travel. Nice sleek bottle. Their packaging is so simple yet sophisticated. COSMEDIX has so many different great products I was super excited to find out that they have a SPF!!! As a Cosmetologist and makeup artist I cannot stress it enough that it is important to use an SPF your skin will thank you. The packaging is very clean and looks very high end. The product itself feels very silky and not like your normal thick SPF. The smell is very mild nothing too strong. I love that you only need a small amount. I was very pleased that it soaked into the skin and didn't feel like it was just sitting on top of the skin. I worked this into my skincare and it worked very well under makeup and other products I was so happy I didn't get any separation or creasing from my makeup. I absolutely love the texture of this formula, as it's ultra-weightless, super-soft, and that perfect velvety feel. It contains some key ingredients like hydrating Ectoin to protect skin from the environment, age-defying Clove Extract and Goldenrod Extract to ease redness and the look of fine lines, and of course Zinc Oxide to protect from UVA/UVB rays, basically everything I look for in a face sunscreen. It's really blendable, making it easy to wear this alone or underneath makeup. The fact that it's nourishing and protecting from the sun is HUGE. Only thing is that it does leave a slight white cast, but I wouldn't take it off my shelf bc it's really works wonders!
