Pure Enzymes Exfoliating Mask

This formula works really well with my skin. Started using it years ago after it was recommended by an esthetician. Kind of got away from it for several years, trying other products or making my own similar thing. Finally found it again, and it is just as effective as it was literally 20 years ago. If the formula changed at all since I last used it, then it was only a minor change. Love this stuff and plan to keep it as a trusted staple in my routine from now on.

Cannot speak much to this product, only tried it a few times. For me, enzymes work best before shaving and it has helped a lot thus far

Beauty and function with amazing ingredients! I was able to try out this mask for 2 weeks, and it's a WOW for me! As an Esthetician, I have tried many enzyme and acid type products on my own, and also clients skin, and this one is a keeper for me!!! The highlighted ingredient is cranberry, which in itself has tons of benefits, such as protection from environment, smoothing, and brightening. As I always do, I scanned the ingredient list on the product and found that the majority of the list is fruit herb and flower extracts, such as neem, eggplant, turmeric, moringa, etc! It also contains L-Lactic acid, L-Glutathione and D-Gluconic acid! Great ingredients galore!

I first applied this at night, on clean, dry skin for 3 minutes, as directed (the minimal time, as my skin tends to be reactive) The color and texture is just beautiful! It feels more like a serum, and is a gorgeous pink color. I didn't feel any tingle (although some people might) and it did give my skin a pink glow. This is totally normal, as it gets that blood moving! It lasted about 10 minutes, then looked normal again. But the texture of my skin was as if Id done a regular acid-based exfoliant! Smooth as can be! I couldn't wait to do it again, for a bit longer. I ended up using it 2 times a week, and eased up to 10 minutes (the max time recommended) My makeup application was better than it has been in years! Seriously! My skin is 50+, so this is really saying something! But the smoothness is no joke! I will say SPF is an absolute must when using this, as with any exfoliant!

This is one of the first four products I tried from this brand Cosmedix. I have been impressed with everything. I have tried so far. This pure enzymes cranberry exfoliating mask was very invigorating on the skin. I was very surprised that there was actual pieces of cranberry in the mask. The mask is somewhat opaque with little particles and chunks of cranberry in it. It says to use this mask 2 to 3 times a week and leave on for 3 to 10 minutes. I left it on for 10 minutes and my skin felt so clean and refreshed afterwards. I did not experience any negative issues with this mask. I did give my skin a slightly pink color after removing, but it went away quickly. This mass lifts away doll surface skin and gives your skin a very smooth, healthy appearance. I would definitely recommend.

I've always had pretty resilient skin� until the last 6 months or so. This is probably oversharing but I had a systemic and multiple month long allergic reaction to my autoimmune disease medication and since then my skin has been moodier, to say the least.
I was really looking forward to trying the Cosmedix Pure Enzymes because I was hoping the cranberry enzymes would make it gentle enough for this transitional phase my skin seems to be in. I may have been wrong.
The directions suggested using the mask for 3-10 minutes in the evening before rinsing off. I opted to err on the side of caution and used the mask for about 3-4 minutes. It felt rich and fresh going on my skin. It didn't burn or feel irritating but by the time I had it rinsed off, I looked pretty rough. Fortunately, the irritation resolved itself within a couple of hours.
On the bright side, the lactic acid definitely did its prescribed job, and my skin was fresher and smoother after it fully calmed down. If you have sensitive skin, this probably isn't the product for you. If you don't have sensitive skin, still maybe take it off a little bit sooner than you think the first round!

However, while using this mask you can definitely feel some tingling while mask is working. I tried Cosmedix Pure Enzymes Exfoliating Mask and although it's gentle it's still an acid. I applied it to my skin and was pleasantly surprised how easy it spread and how serum-like it was. I went to watch tv and chill for a few while it worked its magic. My face felt like it was on fire about a minute later. I forced myself to leave it on the 3 minutes it said just in case that's to be expected from this mask. I'm not sure if that's a normal reaction or not. I put cool water on it after rinsing it off well. It didn't itch so I don't think it's an allergy. I think it's just how some acids work. Especially exfoliating acids. I know I won't ever be leaving this on longer than the minimum and may not use it again either to be honest. My face is really hot and red but feels really soft and like it works well. My first time trying Cosmedix brand and I would like to share my experience with Pure Enzymes.
The mask has a consistency similar to jam. It contains a lot of cranberry pulp. You can find fibers in it. There is no scratching sensation when applying. I prefer to use the mask in the evening. After washing and exfoliation.
Easily applying it in an even thin layer. Immediately after application, tingling sensation may be felt in areas of inflammation and skin damage. And from the first minutes my skin begins to turn pink. The peak of skin redness happens at 10 minutes after applying.
After washing off the mask, the skin returns to normal within half an hour.
What did I notice after two weeks of regular use?
I noticed that my skin has become smooth and soft. After using the mask, the pores are cleansed, blackheads become less noticeable or disappear completely. I have been using this product for 2 weeks now and have noticed that the skin looks healthy and radiant. By the way, I do not use the mask in the morning, as it can increase sensitivity to the sun. If you want to apply it during the day, be sure to use a cream with SPF. In general, the Pure Enzymes mask is worth your attention if you want to achieve not only cleansing, but also improve the condition of your skin. I can safely recommend it to everyone!
