What It Is an Exfoliating Pad?
These Dual-Sided Lactic Acid Exfoliating Pads gently exfoliate away dead skin while replenishing the skin’s moisture barrier for a smoother, brighter-looking complexion. The 2-in-1 pads help to prep the skin for serums and moisturizers while sloughing away impurities. The age-defying acids help to exfoliate and lift away dead skin to reveal a smoother, more moisturized complexion as it smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
What is in the Exfoliating Pads?
Prep & Reset is formulated with a resurfacing mix of acids including Phytic, Lactic, Gluconic and Kojic Acids to gently exfoliate and moisturize for a smoother-looking complexion. Along with a mix of age-defying acids, Prep & Reset is also formulated with Niacinamide and Carica Papaya Fruit Extract to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while also naturally exfoliating to help brighten the appearance of skin.
How Do I Use Prep & Reset?
To use our Prep and Reset Dual-Sided Lactic Acid Exfoliating Facial Pads, apply one pad onto clean, dry skin avoiding the eye area. Apply the smooth side of the pad over the face and neck in a circular motion to prep skin for your favorite COSMEDIX serum and moisturizer skincare products. To take the Facial Pads up a notch, use the textured side of the pad for a more intense exfoliation. Wait 10-15 minutes, then rinse face with tepid water. Follow with your favorite COSMEDIX serum and moisturizer. Due to the exfoliation, we recommended using the pads nightly 3 times a week.
How Can I Implement Prep & Reset Into My Skincare Routine?
Because Prep & Reset is an exfoliating product, we recommend using more gentle cleansers and serums to pair with the Exfoliating Pads. We suggest using the following routine 3x a week:
Step 1: Wash your face with Benefit Clean Gentle Cleanser to lift away dirt, oil, impurities, and stubborn makeup while also soothing and hydrating the complexion.
Step 2: Apply Prep & Reset onto skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off.
Step 3: Once skin is dry, apply C.P.R. Skin Recovery Serum to deliver intense hydration and replenishment to the skin.
Step 4: For the last step, apply Humidify Deep Moisture Cream to deeply hydrate skin while locking in moisture.
